  • GNFC’s Neem Project was awarded the most prestigious Porter prize in 2017 by Professor Michael Porter from Harvard Business School. The Porter Prize recognizes GNFC's contribution to creation of shared value, while creating a viable business model.
  • Skoch Blue Economy Person of the Year Award, 2016 for exemplary leadership in conceptualising, designing and managing the Neem Project.

    Was conferred the honour of the Skoch Blue Economy Person of the Year Award 2016 at the gala award ceremony organized at the Constitution Club, New Delhi on December 16,2016 for his exemplary leadership in conceptualising, designing and managing the Neem Project. The highly coveted award honours individuals whom it deems to be harbingers of change and who have had exceptional impact on the growth and development of the nation. Earlier recipients include Mr M Venkaiah Naidu, Hon'ble Urban Development Minister, Mr Yashwant Sinha, Former Finance Minister - Government of India, Dr Nandan Nilekani, former Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), ex-CEO at Infosys, Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Former Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission etc to name a few.
  • Australian Alumni Association, India Life Time Achievement award in 2006.
  • Award of cash prize of Rs. 75,000 in the year 2014 by Government of Gujarat for implementing innovative and first ever project of “Animal Hostel”
  • Award of cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- by the Government of Gujarat for the special efforts in resource mobilization for the Sardar Sarovar Project in the year 1994.
